By accessing or using StarDeck Market ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
StarDeck Market is a peer-to-peer marketplace for Star Citizen in-game ships and items. StarDeck Market is the platform operator only and is not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers. All items sold are virtual in-game assets within the Star Citizen universe.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts to use this Platform. By using StarDeck, you represent that you meet these requirements.
Sellers are responsible for accurately describing their listings, delivering items as described, and completing transactions in a timely manner. Sellers must connect a Stripe account to receive payouts. StarDeck retains an 8% platform fee on all transactions.
Buyers agree to pay the listed price for items they purchase. Buyers are responsible for ensuring their Star Citizen RSI handle is entered correctly at checkout. StarDeck Market is not responsible for failed deliveries caused by incorrect RSI handle entries.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. StarDeck charges an 8% platform fee on each transaction. Sellers receive 92% of the sale price instantly via Stripe Connect upon completing the transaction. Prices are listed in USD.
Payments are processed immediately and sellers are paid upon transaction completion. All sales are final. StarDeck Market does not guarantee refunds and is not responsible for disputes between buyers and sellers. Buyers assume full responsibility for ensuring their RSI handle is correct before purchase.
All sales are final once a transaction is completed and delivery is confirmed. StarDeck Market does not issue refunds on behalf of sellers. StarDeck Market is the platform operator only and bears no financial responsibility for individual transactions between users.
Refunds may only be considered in cases where: (a) the seller fails to deliver within 7 days with no communication, or (b) the item delivered is materially different from what was listed. In such cases, the dispute is between the buyer and seller, not StarDeck Market.
Platform fees (8%) are non-refundable under all circumstances once a transaction is processed.
Before filing any chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer, you must first contact StarDeck Market support at support@stardeckmarket.com with your order ID. Buyers who file chargebacks without first contacting support will be permanently banned from the Platform and may be subject to recovery of costs incurred by such chargebacks.
To file a dispute, email support@stardeckmarket.com with: (1) your order ID, (2) a description of the issue, and (3) any relevant screenshots. We will respond within 48 hours.
You may not use the Platform to: (a) commit fraud or misrepresent items; (b) violate any applicable laws; (c) harass other users; (d) attempt to circumvent Platform fees; (e) list items you do not own or have rights to sell; (f) engage in money laundering or other financial crimes; (g) file fraudulent chargebacks.
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. StarDeck does not guarantee the accuracy of listings, availability of items, or the conduct of any user. Use the Platform at your own risk.
StarDeck Market shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. StarDeck Market is not liable for any losses arising from individual buyer-seller transactions. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in fees to StarDeck in the 30 days preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of material changes via email.
