Buying Ships

How do I buy a ship?
Browse listings, click Buy Now, enter your RSI handle and email, then pay securely via Stripe. The seller will deliver the ship to your RSI account within 24 hours.
What is my RSI handle?
Your RSI handle is your username on robertsspaceindustries.com. The seller needs this to gift the ship to your account.
How long does delivery take?
Most sellers deliver within a few hours. All sellers are required to deliver within 24 hours. You will receive an email confirmation when your ship is delivered.
What if my ship is never delivered?
Contact us at support@stardeckmarket.com with your order details. We will investigate and issue a refund if the seller fails to deliver.
Can I get a refund?
If the seller does not deliver your ship, you are entitled to a full refund. Contact support@stardeckmarket.com within 48 hours of purchase.

Selling Ships

How do I sell a ship?
Create a free account, connect your Stripe account to receive payouts, then create a listing with your ship name and price.
How do I get paid?
Payments go directly to your connected Stripe account. You receive your payout automatically when a buyer completes checkout. StarDeck keeps an 8% platform fee.
What is the 8% platform fee?
StarDeck charges 8% of each sale to cover payment processing, platform maintenance, and buyer protection. For example, on a $100 sale you keep $92.
What do I answer when Stripe asks what I sell?
Enter: Business type = Individual, What do you sell = Virtual ship assets for the game Star Citizen, Website = stardeckmarket.com, Industry = Games and Software.
When should I mark an order as delivered?
Only mark delivered after you have successfully gifted the ship to the buyers RSI handle and they have accepted it in their account.

Payments & Fees

Is my payment information safe?
Yes. All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor used by Amazon, Google, and millions of other businesses. StarDeck never sees your card details.
What payment methods are accepted?
All major credit and debit cards are accepted via Stripe.
Why did I get charged a different amount?
You are charged exactly the listing price. Stripe may show a small processing descriptor on your bank statement but the amount charged is always the listing price.

Reviews & Trust

How do reviews work?
After a seller marks your order as delivered, you can leave a 1-5 star review on their profile. Reviews help other buyers make informed decisions.
Can reviews be removed?
Reviews can only be removed if they violate our terms of service (spam, harassment, or fake reviews). Honest negative reviews are never removed.

Is StarDeck affiliated with Cloud Imperium Games?
No. StarDeck is an independent marketplace. Star Citizen is a trademark of Cloud Imperium Games.
How do I reset my password?
Click the login link and select Forgot Password. A reset link will be sent to your registered email address.
